You are right and so is Obama. Unfortunately, politics is a game of consensus. When you don’t have enough votes to have a unstoppable consensus (super majority’s in both houses) the game changes considerably. We don’t want dictators, authoritarianism, theocracy or even planned economy socialism or communism. We want left of center, call it the 3/4 tank full leftist policies. We have spent the post war period, providing corporations, upper middles class and super elite 10% of the country welfare! That needs to stop immediately and be reversed 180 degrees.
