Yea I agree to a point . I Believe you and Dan are correct and pretty much in agreement. Both points are valid and merge.

Wealth, leisure time and a prosperity gospel to make all those in the pews with wealth and leisure time feel more worthy of Gods blessings. Sure that is all about the ability to participate based on economics.

Funny thing is all those smart wealthy people are simply being grifted as the vast majority of evangelical and catholic denominations have been in the grift business for in some cases 2 millennium.

I have been baptized and attended both Catholic and Evangelical churches, I know of what I speak. My family have been Roman Catholics back as far as the 1,400’s documented in the family history. So I am knowledgeable and would be glad to debate or discuss either.

These people still in the pews are getting fleeced like sheep not under the care of the Good Shepperd but by the wolves. As they have ignored and disobeyed the shepherds commandments. Love one another as I have loved you. Love your neighbor as your self. Service to your fellows is the love Jesus speaks of. Not much else in the manner of worldly affairs. Certainly not politics and Jesus does not need holy warriors. He and his vanguard of heavenly host are more qualified to decide who needs a holy war.

It’s plainly obvious men are not at all qualified to wage holy war or judge the veracity of such an endeavor. since all the wars of major consequences in the history of humans have been holy wars simply for the masses and for power, wealth and territory for the ruling class.

Look at the gold, art and jewels owned by the Catholic Church and every “royal” family. It’s all stolen looted and drenched in the blood of poor people conscripted by the church or gentry.

They have stolen it ALL! It should all be confiscated and those unholy criminals and their accomplices imprisoned under the Hague for crimes against humanity

Jesus seeks loyalty to his religion, practice and his example, not a religion about Jesus, nor his blood.

Original sin is bullshit, the devil did not make you do it. If you do evil that’s sin, if confessed and repentance truthful, your forgiven. If you know your actions as sinful/evil (or should) and persist in sin, the hell for you is obliteration of you, your Devine soul and your nice smiles and platitudes won’t save you. Your doomed to obliteration and no eternal life as promised to true followers.

Enjoy the feeling of superiority while your being fleeced. It’s the only life you will ever have, no eternal life for you 🤷‍♂️
