Very good deconstruction!! In our society fear is everywhere and true agape love of your neighbor is in short supply. I would add that the love of Trump is absolutely less about him and his abilities/ineptitude than it is fear, manufactured hate and downright ignorance whether willful or by aptitude for the basics of our system of government. The statistic that always sticks in my mind is that 2/3 of adults in America, can’t name the 3 branches of government. Civics has been gutted along with all public education. Ignorance, fear and hate are palpable and are very strong partners with Trump. He is the only politician in modern times that has dared open that box of Pandora. He was rewarded with screaming, hysterical, cult members. It’s love of the hate, a guttural emotion filed by fear of the others.
