My love and sorrow to you and Sophie. I could have cried hearing your story. It hits home hard. I was a divorced single father with joint custody and the ex had Phsical custody until she threw him out of the house at 13, I lived 60 miles away and this was 2am when it all went down. He was emotionally abused until then, he has survived and I can relive most of your experiences in reading your words. Thank God, he has healed. We are the best of fiends and his mother is completely out of his life. I as you did, never said a single bad word abut her until he was well into his late 20’s when we finally unpacked the abuse of him and me in the other life of being under her horrid influence. I was a slave for 13 years, always a bit concerned she would pull a fake police indecent. She falsely accused me of vile behavior to the police at lest 2 times I know of to our local police department . I called the department both time. Thankfully, they knew her for the vile person she was and the police and I both had to laugh when I spoke to them. But I was always cognizant of her scheming and plotting. I never was alone in the same place as her ever again. In all, I feel your pain and Sophies. May the lord bless you and Sophie. The pain well end and with your love she will be fine and so will you.
