Loved the article, truly a very good question to ask. We have been sliding down the illiberal democracy hole since 2001 and the patriot act, citizens United in 2010 and the ascendence of social media in the lives of millions of Americans who view their news feed as actual news. It’s a two decades slip into madness. This is a brief list of items, Americans need to begin better stewardship of our democracy or we will lose it. And the world will be worse off for it.
