If the American people actually received the $11 Teillion then I would accept the false narrative of consumer driven inflation. It’s interesting the know that the billionaire class net worth increased by $9.9 billion during the pandemic. Excuse me for inferring the obvious, $11 trillion spent propping up the stock/bond/derivatives markets, $3 trillion spent on propping up American Citizens, common man in a recession, corporate American experiencing record profits and the owner Class received $9.9 billion increase in wealth. Now where is the problem? Certainly not a consumer driven crisis, Americans don’t have too much time and money in their hands. It’s not a personal problem. Claw back profits, increase taxes on the billionaires substantially, seize the assets involved with corporate crime, not a silly fine they could pay everyday with no adverse action.
