It is difficult for poor people to make informed decisions. They are simply trying to survive and don’t have time to do anything but that.

They are easy prey to media sound bites, knowingly lying TV opinion hosts, State Sanctioned Propaganda (now including Fox, Sinclair Media, the Washington post And Los Angeles Times), jingoism (extreme nationalism) and scapegoating (frigin Mexicans, Murderous Hordes of Muslims, etc.)

Exactly how Hitler and Nazi Germany was explained to me back when I was a 4th grader in 1974.

Engage your wayward ignorant (purposefully or unknowing) fellow citizens in a conversation. Mostly they will say is fake news snippets and fake Facebook PAID LIES and propaganda.

It’s maddening to see your fellow citizens being duped and used.

Loving education and constant vigilance against Theocratic rhetoric, relentless Nationalism, scapegoating of any group of people and false propaganda, may help. 🤷‍♂️ .
