I have a message for the bully’s parents. Raise your echildren correctly, regardless of your personal prejudices. Kids learn hate from their parents. Through the hate projected at: their neighbors, bosses, coworkers, guy on the street, attending public functions and more often, anyone their consider less or more powerful/prominent then the parent is. Also as examples of bullies Either as bullies themselves, being abusers of their kids psychologically or physically. Or simply living in an intolerant home of odds on fundamentalism in religion. Kids are forming traits that stay with them for a lifetime and peer pressure is powerful while just learning how to fit in. PARENTS YOUR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE UPBRINGING OF YOUR CHILDREN. Your Childeren shoud be the defenders of rhe horrible little creations we call kids (let’s face it, we were all Kids once and either fit in or suffered. KIDS CAN BE VERY CRUAL, especially when exercising power dynamics in a young mind. Raised properly the strong defend the weak, regardless of cost (and their parents should applause then for it). They should also, call out abuse abs bullying and defend the defenseless. They should also treat everyone with love. Learn to walk away from confrontation with words of wisdom and admonishment of the bad behavior of the mostly Groups. Kids gang up to fit in and not become the bullied This is the lessons we should be teaching our children. Kids come to blows sometimes. Violence of any type, should not be condoned. However, coming to the aide of a weaker, less able person being bullied. In the name of protection of the weak should not only be a option. It should be taught as part of a parents obligation to raise good American citizens. And adults worthy of grace, love and admiration. A child to be proud of. Parents of bullied children, I know this sounds trite. But the RIGHT martial arts studio, will help your child’s confidence and ability to defend themselves. It will also teach inner strength, the ability to turn confidently from a conflict. The kind of inner strength we need to navigate this world of nefarious actors, accomplices and the complicit!
