I am sure most of the politically active Americans have thought about this issue. You have a point. Everyone ages and their cognition begins to fail. Some in a minor way, some is very detrimental ways. I am not concerned about President Biden, he is certainly all there and can still manage to wrangle a few bi-partisan votes for major legislation. He also brought our allies back into the fold after a 5 year nightmare. However, we should consider some top age. People are living longer with the exception of overdoses which are a serious concern. This will take a little thinking. I know many in their 80’s who are fully capable but as said. At some time, we might want to limit how old a president could be. Woodrow Wilson (not sure the age) declined dramatically in office and his wife started making decisions in his name and the public was unaware. We don’t want any part of that happening again. Thought provoking piece. Great read!
