I agree and feel the same. I walk on this earth, live as an American who wittinesses some of the major the advancements we have made in the 20th century. Although many problems, systemic still plagued us there was an air of optimism in the future. Enter 2001, 2008, 2016 -2020 and I agree. It’s a dualistic world we live in and as resources become more scarce because they are being hoarded by the super wealthy, we are at a turning point. I see the archeological record and know that major extinctions usually occur with a genetic bottleneck. One species dies off while living alongside the surviving species of hominids. The planet has been here for billions of years under some type of climate, it will survive unless we nuke ourselves into a new asteroid belt. I am not so optimistic in the present human race!
