Hello Rich, you are in my feed and your queries and faith are interesting to me. I am non evangelical, non fundamentalist follower of Christ and the one paradise father. You questions are ones I asked for over a decade. Here on Medium is a very good resource for true faith, not political action, not defense but a book of origins, love the true message of Christ and a speaking of the spirit that I can’t deny. The Book of Urantia is a very compelling telling of the actual life of Christ from conception to death. It tell a tale you will know is true and fills in all the things people make up to deconstruct and for super church indoctrination. It doesn’t need interpretation or come in 100 translations done by men with agendas many times. Check this out!
Urantia: The original Urantia Book (English edition) It is also available on audible. Chad Gates on medium introduced me. Look him up. Don’t just throw it out without doing a deep dive: the Bible is a book of god, but god continues to speak as he is a living God. A book 2,000 years old is not the end all. The book will not conflict the Bible, it will fill in the details. I hope you give it a try and then would love to chat more about it. I am no Scholar but knock, seek and find I did.
