Great article. We have all been there. Drunk sex is a mainstay of America anyway. Passed out or completely obviously hammered is a No Go. A pair who have had a few too many drinks but both want and consent to sex should not be a rape or any charge. I hate to think of the terrible consequences of a rape charge being filed against anyone who simply has drunk sex. All the other issues you list are also truly valid. Adults, male and female are responsible for actions, sober or drunk. We have all had the experience of hooking up with someone after the Beer Goggles are on. You wake up in the morning regretting the decision made in a drunk state. If there is regret does that make it rape? Of course not, just drink horny sex with the available person. Face the daylight bravely and don’t falsely accuse someone of rape to salve your ego or pride. Rape is a serious offense, most will never outlive the charge. Let’s all be real. Important topic. Where is this law? In the US?
