Excellent article. We need more (true history) of western civilization and America as required eduction along with CIVICS. Our youth may be able to see the parallels between many declining civilization. That would spur debate and crtical thinking. All of the above our children lack. School board are filled with uneducated political runes. Many truly uneducated or associate to the “opium of the stupid” Fox, Oan, etc. they feel educated and informed by a right wing propaganda machine designed to inflame their lizard brain. A little critical thinking education would internally fight the most base emotional delusion that is their default setting after 30 years intense indoctrination of disinformation from the pulpit to the news.
