Drone armies, the writing is on the wall. Good for our human soldiers, maybe not so good for humanity in the long run.

I am pleased the Ukrainians are utilizing any and all technology to repel Russian invaders and war criminals. Go Ukraine!!! Excellent work trying to save themselves, Europe and really thwarting the start of WW3! They deserve better than we are giving.

Looking down the entire street, when war has no casualties, war becomes tenable and even ever-present. It’s a prescription that will be dispensed over and over and over again. I believe it could lead to the nuclear war we were so cognizant of and guarded against during the Cold War. We seem to have forgotten fear of Nukes with all of the other dangers lurking in the darkness. As a society we seem to be slipping past a point of no return.

Just beyond our ability to imagine the unthinkable and or rally the collective will of the populous to combat a REAL, clear and present danger, even when it’s right in front of our faces (see the movie “Don’t Look up” for a good, tragically comical example of walking into extinction). We live in an extremely perplexing time. Sociologically we are unprepared for the speedy transformation of our lives by technology and it’s related vulnerabilities. When you take a moment to really think about drones, massive arrays of sensors, cyber attacks, a digital society ready for an EMP attack to send is back to the stone ages, surveillance states, AI, Chinese tech all over America including chips used with known vulnerabilities in every price of electronic hardware we own, the massive hack of the US Government and Major corporations under Trumps last year in office, robotics, climate migration, pandemics, historic economic inequality, an armed pissed off, electoral minority seeking to SEIZE POWER, a Tsunami of Disinformation, theocrats and fascism rising all over the world, etc etc (only a quick partial list of threats). With all of the above threats and no need for humans to wage war, the “war of the machines”, may already be closer than we ever imagined. We shall see 🤷‍♂️. Will we walk into extinction as a species once we have tired of killing each other off? What do you think?

Ohh and by the way, a Middle East on fire, Iran and it’s vassals challenging the United States after finding the Iranian war plans and our Middle East military posture including vulnerabilities in Trumps Bathroom. Damn, that’s a coincidence 🙈🙉🙊 won’t work well.
