As a Survivor of a bad marriage to a “Christian evangelical” and her family (they were no more Christian than a devil) me and my son, whom the mother abused once I was out of the house. I HEAR YA! You are absolutely correct. When they wear their Christianity, not grace and love on their shoulder, shun them. Drive them into poverty and destroy the hidden evil in their heats! Don’t ever trust an evangelical unless their only proselytizing is about LOVE. That’s the test!!!
